It also charts the development of the project from its original concept as a series of handbooks complete in itself, to a more ambitious structure -- an institute dedicated to enhancing teaching and training methodology in filmschools all over the world.

What is a filmschool? We often talk about it as if it were well-defined entity, yet experience shows that no two schools are indentical.
