The Faculty of Film, TV and Games at Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences (INN) was established on August 1st 2024, merging The Norwegian Film School, the TV-School and the Game School into one faculty that offers creative and artistic educations within the fields of film, TV production and virtual reality, animation and game technology.

The faculty currently has two open PhD positions in artistic research: “Film editing with focus on documentary genres” and “Spatial computing and virtual productions” with application deadline October 11th.

The TV-school has a vacant position as PhD fellow in artistic research in film editing with a focus on documentary genres.

We encourage editors and/or filmmakers with experience in the editing to apply and are particularly seeking candidates with an interest in and experience with the series format. The place of work is at the TV-school in Lillehammer at Faculty for Film, TV and Games at INN.

This fellowship requires, for no-native speakers, documented oral and written skills in one of the Scandinavian languages.

The Game School has a vacant position as PhD fellow in spatial computing and virtual productions

The focus of the PhD position is to explore and develop new forms of expression and perhaps new art forms, where actual and projected space meet. The place of work is at the Game School in Hamar at Faculty for Film, TV and Games at INN.
